Horse Care
Horse care - The Daily Routine: I will head to the barn, my checklist usually revolves around the "Big Three": Food, Water, and Safety.Feeding & Supplements: Horses are creatures of habit. I stick to the exact measurements and timing provided by the owner.
Hydration: A horse can drink 5–10 gallons of water a day, I always scrub the buckets; nobody likes drinking out of a slimy pool.
The "Once-Over": Check for heat in the legs, missing shoes, or unusual cuts. If they aren't acting like their usual selves (e.g., standing alone in a corner), take note.
Mucking: It's the less glamorous side of the job, but keeping stalls clean is vital for hoof health and respiratory safety.
